Caught by Surprise

Today officially begins our Winter Break from school. I know I should have some schedules made up, but that just didn't happen. I think we will wing it through the weekend, then get structured - to make life easier for both of us!

Getting Started

Josie and I both thought this blog would be a great place for us to record and share some of the fun activities we do to help her learn stuff that kids with Aspergers can need a lot of help learning. Some of it is kinda girly, which has been fun for us.

We want it to be upbeat and helpful. I believe these activities have helped us both tremendously. Most of them won't help anyone deal with a major meltdown or immediate problem, but I feel like we have less of those when we are doing more "Best Me" activities.

We also have a ton of help from Josie's awesome Dad, Chip from my parents, Josie's teachers, and our doctor.
